PREFACE/ISSUE
There is a lot of talk about the involvement of USA, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, even Germany in the Nordstream affair. What does my research show? Does it confirm or negate or is the issue still open?
"The myth of Poseidon"
Lets look at 20 selected points which are very likely connected to the role of USA, SWE, GER, DK. The position and relationship between USA and NATO structures at the moment of the bombing.
Based on what is presented here it looks like (to me) that despite all the trash taking from US politicians, the USA was actively helping Germany in protection of their interests.
It looks like USA, Germany, Netherlands and likely Russia were aware of some submarine in the area already in June 2022, about 3m before the act. There should be hydro-sonic acoustic data about this. If so, then the data should be compared to the data Denmark and Sweden supposedly have from the time of the event or before it.
It also looks like Sweden was NOT onboard and with Denmark they were protecting their waters. They also should have data from the chase.
A FEW POSTULATES:
#1 - June 2022 - The C.I.A. had warned European governments of potential attacks on pipelines.
The warning was not specific, the officials said, and they declined to say whether Russia was identified as a possible attacker.The C.I.A. issued a vague warning in June to a number of European nations, including Germany, that the two Nord Stream gas pipelines that carry natural gas from Russia could be targeted in forthcoming attacks, three senior officials familiar with the intelligence said on Tuesday.The German publication Der Spiegel was the first to report that the U.S. had provided what intelligence officials call “strategic warning” of a possible attack — a warning that came with no specifics about the likely time or place or manner of a potential strike.
[M: SUM - The CIA provides a strategic waning to Nordstream shareholders that their both NS1 and NS2 could be targets. Based on what intel? The date of the warning is omitted.
Could there be an explanation that a UK submarine was sniffing around Nordstream and around? Could this mean that this was some test mission, or perhaps a first attempt to destroy? Could it be that US did not agree?]
#2 - The Poseidon P-8 plane operates in the anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) roles

[Note that many countries share intel through NATO, it is collected in UK, MARCOM command which is just next the UK HQ]
#3 - 4 June 2022 - Germany purchases 7 additional Boeing P-8A Poseidon and buries MAWS project, to complete a fleet of 12 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA).
[M: Germany sees vulnerable in maritime area, why? did some recent demonstration show lack of performance vs proof of capabilities of P8 so GER decided for the switch?]
#4 - 8 June 2022 - US and GER military planes conducted activity over future Nordstream attack sites
[M: What is this about? Normal flyover? Was there something to see? Is this connected to the message that US warned Germany and other allies about the NS vulnerability and possible attack? Did this happen before or after the CIA warning?]
#5 - 16 June 2022 - HMS Audacious Completes 1st NATO Patrol In Mediterranean
[M: So Audacious was out of Mediterian but where was Ambush? Is there some way to find out where were UK attack subs in June to August? Who are the best UK submarine spotters? How to contact them?]
#6 - 16 June 2022 - Royal Navy's cutting-edge £1.3bn submarine takes
to Mediterranean for first NATO mission
The submarine was formally commissioned in September 2021. It joined its sister vessels – HMS Astute, Ambush and Artful – on the front line for the first time in January, spending months in the depths of the North Atlantic and Mediterranean.
Fresh from its deployment to the Arctic, in which it carried out a number of missions including sub-surface stealth raids with Royal Marines Commandos, sister submarine HMS Ambush joined Audacious as it limbered up for full operations off the Scottish coast. The two submarines went head to head in underwater battles in a range of warfare scenarios.
#7 -11 July 2022 - The Nord Stream 1, the biggest single pipeline carrying Russian gas to Germany, starts annual maintenance today, with flows expected to stop for ten days
#8 - 19 Aug 2022 - FDP lawmaker slammed for Nord Stream 2 comments
Wolfgang Kubicki of the FDP faced criticism from his own party and the government after proposing the opening of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russia. He said there was "no sensible reason" to keep the pipeline closed.
#9 - 31 August 2022 - Gazprom to halt Nord Stream gas for 3-day maintenance. Gas flows to Europe to be disrupted starting August 31
#10 - 1,2,3 Sept 2022 - US Military Helicopters Circled Around Future Nord Stream Leaks For Hours In September
In particular, at the beginning of the month, a US Navy Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk helicopter loitered over the location of pipelines in the Baltic Sea near Bornholm for three days in a row on September 1, 2 and 3.
[M: The post of the blogger is interesting. But it does not make sense to blow cover. Another better explanation offers itself. US was conducting anti-submarine mission which has not been a drill.]
#11 - It is curious that on September 2,...
...almost in parallel with the US military, a military helicopter NH90 of the Dutch Navy was flying in the vicinity of Bornholm Island, probably observing the activities of the Americans....
US helicopters, according to Flightradar24, also flew over the branches of Russian gas pipelines on September 10 and September 19.
In all cases, the trajectories of the US military speak of observation flights or loitering with other targets over a specific section of the water area. Helicopters that made sorties on the night of September 22-23 and 25-26 have especially confusing tracks.
[M: Perhaps there was a UK submarine in the vicinity and US Navy from Kaersarge was tracking its movements. This kind of excludes that it was a secret approved NATO operation, looks more like UK went rogue and USA has been on it, knew, monitored yet has not stopped it or did not understand intentions of the submarine - speculating on another post with How it maybe went - so far sequence is in few posts on twitter. Btw, the path looks like the helicopter dropped sonarbuoys, then cycles to transmit its data to Kaersarge].
#12 - NH90 - The NHIndustries NH90 is a medium-sized, twin-engine, multi-role military helicopter. The NH90 NFH variant is primarily designed for autonomous Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Anti Surface Warfare (ASuW) missions.
Specialized naval helicopter with underwater sonar system, tactical radar and high cabin, the NH90 ASW is specially tailored for its maritime missions and the operative environment in the Baltic Sea, this helicopter is best-suited for the customer’s requirements.
In total, Sweden will have 9 NH90 in ASW configuration and 9 in SAR (Search and Rescue) configuration. /2015
2010 - The Royal Netherlands Navy Takes Delivery Of Its First NH90 NFH.
The Royal Netherlands Navy has ordered a total of 20 NH90 NFH aircraft.
#13 - 2 Sept 2022 - helicopter call sign FFAB123 MH-60S
from USS Kearsarge flew either along the route of Nord Stream-2 or generally between the points where the accident occurred.
#14 - 2 September 2022 - HMS Audacious has completed her second Mediterranean patrol, conducting maritime security operations for the UK and her NATO allies, say the Royal Navy.
After six months of near continuous operations, Audacious returned to Souda Bay to undergo maintenance – not just on the hi-tech sensors and systems inside the boat, but her hull as well.
Specialist divers were flown out from the UK, running over the entire length of the submarine’s 97-metre-long hull with what is effectively a giant, heavy duty dental hygienist’s tooth polisher – the bristles on the brushes strong enough to sweep away barnacles, but not too firmly that the black tiles which cover Audacious and are key to her stealth are not damaged or dislodged.
[M: Why would a sub do this after the 6m of operation when it goes to home port unless it wants to be clean and ready for the new mission? Previously I thought bigger suspect was Ambush but it may be S122 HMS Audacious as well]
#15 - 22, 23 24 September - SWE newspapers Dagens Nyheter report that Swedish navy was in the area a few days before the sabotage.
[M: Look carefully and imagine there is a submarine involved. You have already eliminated other possibilities of how explosives were delivered - Not from air, Not from boat, and Not through PIG (pipeline inspection gauge). What scenario do you see? What is the Swedish news saying between the lines?]
On Monday 26-09-2022, Nordstream is blown, two explosions, 80km apart, different times. Note timing, the 1st, smaller one after midnight the other at 5pm local time. The time differentials are: Pentagon - 6h, London -1h, Moscow +2h. The first explosion was smaller, like a starter, then the triple LARGE explosion later. Supposedly only 6/8 charges detonated, if so there is forensic evidence.
#16 - 26 Sept 2022 - Here the details from ADSB where you realize
that the P8's speed was dropping right ahead Nordstream/Bornholm for a few minutes only. If the US Navy P-8A from Keflavík, Iceland was at the place after the event, why did it leave earlier to be there in just that time?
Note that It arrived to the place 1h after the first explosion.
[M: was the plane dropping sonobuoys? like e.g. these and then transmitting data? It's important to highlight that a P-8A Poseidon was at a very low altitude hinting that it was looking for a submarine during that night. How so this plane left Iceland and was in the area before/during/after the sabotage? Why did this P8 flew from Iceland? Why not to use NATO allied plane? A distrust in MACROM cooperation?]
#17 - The P8 was sent from Iceland, it is a USA asset.
[M: Is this a sign of a distrust? Did USA want to have own data? Why?]

3. Commander Operations for the Royal Navy
4. NATO Allied Maritime Command MARCOM
Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) is the central command of all NATO maritime forces and the MARCOM Commander is the primary maritime advisor to the Alliance.
#18 - On 29 Sept 2022 - CNN reports that: "Russian submarines were also observed not far from those areas last week, one of the intelligence officials said."

Even before summer we can see that US Navy is (officially) siding with Germany, EU in June to September and it looks like it is not in the favour of UK destroying Nordstream, otherwise they would not warn Germany and EU.
Note that the 25-26/09 P8 flew from Iceland before the event, reached place 1h after the attack. This shows that US wanted to secure own independent intel about the incoming hit on Nordstream. Perhaps monitoring the damage, the reaction of RU forces in Kaliningrad.
There was a brief news that US supposedly used the WhiteHouse-Kremlin "Red Line De-escalation Phone" used for crisis telling Russians "It was not us". I could not find the source again so I am not mentioning it.
The Flight of US P-8 from Iceland makes sense only if NATO is fractured, not united, there is a huge distrust, as NATO command and control is located in UK, Northwood.
My evaluation right now is that it was an action of just ONE state.
There is a possibility that other individuals inside NATO in different positions were briefed at some point. Nobody blew whistle or tried to stop it.
In the USA, it is possible that the top leaders acted outside their normal patterns and gave unofficial approval or even coordinated, cooperated with UK. That would mean a treason I suppose, but that is up to investigators.
I have no information about US involvement and so Sy Hersh´s story and data may be complementary but not contradictory.
