What explosives were used Sherlock? Russian mines. Elementary, my dear Watson.

PREFACE/ISSUE

Let´s delve deeper into consciousness and gather more information about this aspect to arrive at a more accurate conclusion. Shall we?

Lets explore a chain of thoughts, let speculate a little bit and see if our Thoughts make heads and heels and bring us forward or not.

"The crooked man government of a Great country"
'
What explosives were used Sherlock to blow up Nordstream pipelines?

Russian mines, of course.

Was it to frame it on them?'

Exactly, my dear Watson

[M: Fictional satire to lighten the mood a bit on this shady stuff.]

[M: Note ! This is MY point of view - My investigation - My suspects]

"Dissing these dynamic douchebags was Elementary, my dear Watson"

Preconditions:

  • Complexity, no-fail-allowed risk factor spells a state actor was involved.

  • As for Russia I have not found (so far) a good motive

  • There are indices that a certain NATO member could have been involved

I. If a state actor was involved there will be definitely a blame game involved. Could these news be that?

28 Sept 2022 - Leaks to Nord Stream pipelines were likely a premeditated attack using explosive devices detonated remotely, says British defence source

3 Oct 2022 - Sir Tony Radakin said: ‘Russia has the ability to disrupt other areas in addition to what it’s doing in Ukraine, in energy and in these diplomatic battles.

The concern from the Royal United Services Institute is that the destruction of satellites could damage things like military GPS systems.

6 Oct 2022 - Swedish authorities announced on October 6 they...

...had conducted an underwater inspection of the site and collected "pieces of evidence". Meanwhile, Danish police on Tuesday said they had completed several inspections of the leaks in the Danish zone, together with the intelligence service PET.

Another probable cause, according to a British military source, is that the Russians special ops may have discreetly laid mines from a disguised commercial vessel and detonated them days or weeks later

6 Oct 2022 - Liz Truss: Ending European reliance on Russian energy...

and tackling the criminal gangs that traffic people across Europe are priorities that President @EmmanuelMacron and I shareGood to agree closer cooperation on these areas with our French friends today.

7 Oct 2022 - Fears Russia has planted mines on UK’s internet and power cables after ‘Putin ordered gas pipeline attack’

A government told the Daily Mail the Danish probe is being carefully watched to see if it will point the finger at Russia and Vladimir Putin.

7 Oct 2022 - Have the Russians ALREADY planted mines on Britain's ocean cables network?

Ministers order urgent check of power and internet lines amid fears Vladimir Putin will ramp up 'sea-bed warfare' following last month's Nord Stream sabotage.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace sent warships to the North Sea this week to deter Kremlin attacks after explosions on key gas pipelines in the Baltic.

‘But there is also the question of how it was done. Was it a direct attack? Or were mines pre-placed some time in the past and detonated remotely

'If it is the latter then it raises questions about where else mines might have been placed.’

Mr Wallace told this week’s Conservative Party conference that the ‘mysterious’ damage inflicted on the Nord Stream pipelines should serve as a reminder of how ‘fragile’ UK infrastructure and the economy were given the threat of ‘hybrid attacks’. He added: ‘The Nordic states and ourselves are deeply vulnerable to people doing things on our cables and our pipelines.’

7 Oct 2022 - Fears Russia has planted mines on UK’s internet and power cables after ‘Putin ordered gas pipeline attack

A government told the Daily Mail the Danish probe is being carefully watched to see if it will point the finger at Russia and Vladimir

[M: So what kind of explosives, what kind of evidence - false or no - was found there and was not released to public domain?]

8 Oct 2022 - UK warned millions of miles of critical infrastructure cables face Russian attack

The British missile destroyer HMS Dragon, which entered the waters of the Black Sea, ignored the warning about the inadmissibility of entering the designated area of the Black Sea and several cruise anti-ship missiles were fired in its direction. It is known that the warship was taken to be escorted by Russian military aircraft and Russian ships of the Black Sea Fleet, actively tracking the movements of the destroyer.

II. The attack on Crimean bridge crossed a Russian red line

8 Oct 2022 - Crimean Bridge explosion

On 8 October 2022, at 6:07 am, a fire broke out on the Crimean Bridge as a result of an explosion, which occurred on the road bridge, on or under the westbound vehicle lanes running from Russia to Kerch in occupied Crimea. Two two-lane vehicular spans of the bridge collapsed into the water. Two adjacent eastbound lanes on independent structure survived. The railway bridge was also significantly damaged by fire on railway tanker cars. Four people were killed.

III. Was Russia/Gazprom countering the accusation pointing that a forgotten case of NATO SeaFox was found next pipeline in the past?

10 Oct 2022 - Gazprom: NATO mine destroyer was found at Nord Stream 1 in 2015

Nord Stream reported on that date in 2015 that a "munitions object" had been cleared by the Swedish armed forces, without giving more detail on the object.

Gazprom spokesperson Sergei Kupriyanov told Russian state television on Monday that a NATO device, called a SeaFox, was retrieved from a depth of about 40 m(125 ft) and made safe.

18 Nov 2022 - Sweden: Prosecutor confirms Nord Stream 2 sabotage

A Swedish prosecutor said Friday that explosions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline were the result of sabotage.

IV. Did UK self-sabotage low profile non-critical infrastructure & "foiled" another to make itself a victim?

18 Oct 2022 - UK: Severed undersea cables near Shetland Islands

Ian Brown, a partner with Lerwick-based internet provider Shetland Broadband, said he became aware of a problem just after 00:00 on Thursday when his home broadband went off.

He said the north cable was broken on 15 October in a clean break, but the southern one was not a clean break because there are around 100 fibres in the cable - and not all had been broken.

13 Nov 2022 - UK foils Putin's plot to sabotage vital South Atlantic pipeline

Concerns were raised last month when British security services gained access to satellite images which indicated that Russia had become markedly interested in the stretch of pipe. The images, which surfaced shortly after attacks on two Nord Stream pipelines, have been examined by technical specialists, sources say.

14 Nov 2022 - Express claims UK “foiled Russian plot to sabotage fuel pipeline in Ascension island”

V. The UK-Ukraine possible connection. If Russian mines were used, could someone get them from Ukraine? (note UK is just an example here)

5 May 2022 - A strange message to Boris Johnson and V. Zelenski appeared o Twitter.

25 July 2022 - Who dares wins? Boris Johnson visits special forces troops

...days after donning camo to hang out with soldiers - as PM's allies press for him to be allowed to STAY on in No10 and minister says he would be 'comfortable if he returned to Government

Mr Johnson's spokesman would not say if he was visiting the Special Boat Service (SBS), based in Poole, or the Hereford Based Special Air Service (SAS)- whose motto is 'who dares wins'.

31 Aug 2022 - Boris Johnson to visit nuclear submarine yard in latest stop on PM's farewell tour

3 Sept 2022 - Zelensky exclusive: Threat from ‘Putin the Nazi’ outweighs pain of rising energy bills

The Ukrainian leader praises Boris Johnson, criticises Macron and Scholz and says western cost of living fears are ‘incomparable’ with the threat from Russia.

Volodymyr Zelensky refuses to talk about Boris Johnson in the past tense.

Under Johnson, Britain was one of the first nations to donate weapons to Ukraine as the countdown to the Russian invasion began last winter. While nervous European leaders dawdled, Johnson led the pack..

4 Sept 2022 - Zelenskiy Tells Europe To Prepare For Difficult Winter With Oil, Gas Supply Cuts

4 Sept 2022 - Zelenski warns that Russia is preparing a «decisive blow» in its energy offensive against Europe

Instead of tanks and missiles, Russia is using energy as a weapon, he said, and is preparing a "decisive blow" in the energy sector this winter.

V. The statement

25 Oct 2022 - Underwater drone reveals: At least 50 metres of the Nord Stream pipeline have sunk into the seabed

But Lars Nøhr-Nielsen has no doubts:

“Those who have blown up these pipes have used an explosive charge that is more than sufficient. They most likely did not just want to blow a hole in the pipe, they wanted to make it unusable.”

CONCLUSION/SUMMARY:

  • A presumption of innocence means that any defendant in a criminal trial is assumed to be innocent until they have been proven guilty.
  • This is not a direct evidence, just extrapolation on official news sources, statements of politicians.
  • Official investigators should look into this. It is a possible CLUE.
  • Use your critical thinking and constraint.
  • The point of this blog is to increase awareness on one possible suspect(s).

Question: Can one find out if the cat is alive without opening the black-box? Can one know with high certainty what type of explosives were used without forensic analysis, without examining the crime scene?

Answer: Watson thinks that the solitary friend of his who is more interested in solving complex cases actually likes cats due to their character similarities.

Note: As for this post, to me it is a low value, has very little real data and too much of speculation, not like others.
To make a point a reference to old stories is used. Nowadays proper evidence is a must. And that is, with investigators, who are for obvious reasons very very slow. Regardless, it is a possibility that this chain of Thought is possible.
