215 - Nordstream affair Crime sequence reconstruction - PART I

CRIME SEQUENCE RECONSTRUCTION

(BASED ON NORDSTREAM FILES MASTER DATA-FILE)

- FIRST draft OF PART 1 -
Yes, I opened the investigation for all to read
no paywall, no nothing,
you can read.
The truth must be known!

-> then start ASKING you politicians questions what did they know?
-> then start ASKING journalists questions why are they not INVESTIGATING data?

THE STORY IN DATA POINTS:

On 17 July 2018 - Boris Johnson wrote that he feels that Nord Stream 2 is divisive and could leave the EU’s supply reliant on “a malign Russian state”. He acknowledged that British interests are at stake and admitted that that "My primary concern is not the potential commercial losses for those private companies, or even the success—or lack of success—of former German Chancellors in their deal making, but the strategic interests of the United Kingdom and our friends and allies." He recognized the price for Gazprom. “Nord Stream-2 and Turkish Stream are all deeply value-destructive projects that will eat up almost half of Gazprom’s investments over the next five years.” (003)

There were many debated in the UK Parliament and elsewhere about the Nordstream in relation to UK´s own energy insecurity and loss of competitiveness vis-a-vis Germany and the rest of EU. One fine example is a debate from 2021. Volume 690: debated on Wednesday 10 March 2021 (079). The 2021 integrated review (into foreign, security and defence policy) identified Russia as the “greatest threat”– while naming China as “a systemic challenge”. (003)

In 16 March 2021 - Global Britain in a Competitive Age: the Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy provided objectives one of which was "Shaping the open international order of the future" and "building resilience overseas". The UK lost its role in EU institutions and was going through realignment. Boris Johnson planned to transform ‘Global Britain’ slogan into an inspiring strategic plan in which old statement about “Great Britain that has lost an empire and has not yet found a role.” will be replaced by imposing UK on ambitiously improved standing as a relevant powerful state utilizing its assets. (044)

In 2021 Boris Johnson realizing the gravity and criticality of the situation with UK energy security, balance of payments, trade which was hit after Brexit, and updated energy security strategy which aimed to reduce the UK's dependence on imported fossil fuels, he also proclaimed he wants to make from the UK a 'Saudi Arabia of wind power'. The issue is that neither solar nor wind are competitive to Russian piped gas while Britain´s own oil and gas fields in North sea were being depleted with no new discoveries. Energy trading through electricity interconnectors between the EU and Great Britain was after Brexit no longer managed through existing single market tools, such as EU market coupling which complicated building of new wind fields. So the end of energy market coupling has had significant implications for the UK's energy market. The excess energy would not be automatically sold to EU markets which is a bottleneck for Johnson´s vision. (002) and (041).

The July 2021 article in Guardian cited that "Britain plans to launch covert special forces operations against Russia and China" The RT reported that Royal Marines Brigadier Mark Totten revealed to the Times the UK Special Forces are about to concentrate on some new covert counter-state tasks with a focus on Russia and China. Totten said: The British Royal Marines are to take over some of the “traditional” roles of the nation’s special forces units – the Special Air Service (SAS) and Special Boat Service (SBS) – as they are preparing for some new “higher risk” counter-state tasks.  Guardian reported that the most secretive parts of the British military are likely to get a new focus and a new remit that would involve countering Russia and other state actors through secret missions. Totten’s comments were a rare instance of a British military official openly admitting that London plans to deploy the UK Special Forces on covert missions specifically targeting Russia and China. (081)

UK Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Kwasi Kwarteng told a parliamentary committee Sept. 22. 2021 that "We are not exposed to Russian supply as many of our EU counterparts are" (027).

On 16 Nov 2021 - Boris Johnson warns EU to choose between Ukraine and Nord Stream 2. Writing in The Sunday Telegraph, Truss urged “friends across Europe” to stand together in opposing the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. In interview for another newspapers 16 Nov 2021 "EU ultimatum! Boris warns bloc must chose Russian gas pipeline or 'stick up for Ukraine'" (042).

On Nov, 18 2021 - Nord Stream 2: Will you go to the Gazprom with me? British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday that “a choice is shortly coming” for Europe. Later on 30 Nov 2021 - Liz Truss urged Nato allies to block Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, stating that "It remains to be seen how far the UK can push its opposition to Nord Stream 2". (002)

The first decision to take both pipelines down had to be done after strategists realized (003) that Russian energy flows to EU is a serious threat to UK´s own energy security and that the removal of the threat is necessary.

On February, 27 2022 - British foreign minister Liz Truss said she would press for further measures against Russia, particularly in cutting off their oil and gas supplies, at a meeting with her counterparts in the G7 group of rich nations. "The real objective is to degrade the Russian economy because what we know is Putin’s war machine is funded by revenues from oil and gas." (163

In March, 2 2022 - UK gov study "Geopolitical implications of Nord Stream 2 (163) and TONY BLAIR INSTITUTE FOR GLOBAL CHANGE released paper "Cutting the Cord: Ending Europe’s Energy Dependency on  Russia". Such a plan requires urgent coordination between the EU and its partners to lay out both short-term measures and a longer strategic vision for greater energy security.

In 17 March 2022 - Booris Johnson stated that: We need to wean the West off Russian oil and gas to punish Putin’s war machine.

There were many studies of the issue. The Institute for Government (IfG) said the security of the UK’s physical supply will “likely hold up” following possible Russian gas export disruptions to the EU, even without measures from the strategy, due to diversity of supply. During this time active measures were taken to mitigate future impact of the mission. Initially perceived as a threat to energy security, the UK's opposition to Nord Stream 2 ultimately bolstered its efforts to become a net energy exporter.

17 May 2022 - EU energy security: Implications for the UK stated that: "Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has stimulated UK and EU cooperation on the security of energy supply." and that  "there is insufficient LNG import capacity within the EU, but spare capacity in the UK as well as capacity on the pipelines from the UK to mainland Europe". (041

What followed was several months of diplomatic bashing (002) by Johnson and Truss stressing dangers of reliance on Russian energy exports. On April,6 2022 - Truss statement was that We're going further to cripple Putin’s war machine (163).

Truss was stating that "We need to ... degrade the Russian economy" (163). After Boris Johnson said that" we can’t close down use of Russian oil and gas overnight" Johnson made several trips and was in talk to Middle East exporters to ramp up their exports to the whole Europe in case of Russian ones are lower (002). The statement "We have got to make sure we have substitute supply." had to be made on behalf of allies as the UK had minimal exposure. The UK government also warned its companies to divest in advance from Russian markets. (040).  On 13 March 2022 - British finance minister Rishi Sunak called on more British companies on Sunday to wind down their existing investments in Russia

In March 2022 a new UK energy strategy was approved. It included building international support to reduce Russian energy revenues, providing a key EU entry point for non-Russian supplies of gas. "We are examining our infrastructure to ensure gas flows efficiently between the UK, Europe and the global market through our interconnectors and LNG terminals and promote gas infrastructure to be hydrogen-ready" which was later part of the failed idealism by Leyen "RePowerEU". In a video here Prime Minister Boris Johnson said why it’s vital that we invest in renewable energy and end the West’s reliance on Putin’s oil and gas.

In April 2022 Liz Truss was ready to try and beat global aggressors at their own game so she set out her plan to reconfigure the UK’s foreign policy suggestig EU could go further still – with a ban on imports of oil and gas; hydrocarbons make up a third of the Russian economy.

Data point that plans were developed in incremental steps and the UK positioned itself to gain from the event along the development of Ukrainian-Russian conflict. The Istanbul peace talks were shredded after Boris Johnson personally interfered, the criticality increased in lock-steps with other world events.

On April, 15 2022 - The Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) - Admiral Sir Antony David Radakin, KCB, ADC, Chief of the Defence Staff stated that "JEF recognises that the character of warfare has evolved, and the distinction between peace and war is not as clear as it once was. The grey area this creates has allowed our adversaries to develop new ways of threatening us, and we recognise the need to counter this by protecting, engaging and constraining the threat." Note that JEF is not bound by the article V. Also "We therefore see advantage in the JEF being able to take collective action below the traditional threshold of conflict, if necessary, before NATO declares Article V, in a complementary capacity to NATO." (043)

Given that Rishi Sunak was studying legal implications of a gray warfare of subsea cables which treatment is similar that of pipelines this is eyebrow rising statement. (051)

27 April 2022 - Truss: The return of geopolitics: Foreign Secretary's Mansion House speech at the Lord Mayor's 2022 Easter Banquet. "Our sanctions have already seen Russia facing its first external debt default for a century. We need to go further. There must be nowhere for Putin to fund this appalling war. That means cutting off oil and gas imports once and for all."

Event in the summer 2022 hinted to an improved relations, rapprochement between Russia and Germany seemed possible. Joseph Borrell, the EU’s chief diplomat, on acknowledged that certain political factions in the bloc wanted the EU to drop its support for Ukraine, push Kyiv into a ceasefire and abandon sanctions against Russia to ease economic pressure on European countries.

Britain's Boris Johnson Warns Against Attempts To 'Renormalize' Relations With Russia. Russia was making pro-active steps, as a part of negotiations it withdrew its forces from the area around Kiev but then the Butcha incident happened.

In July 2022 First UK-Germany power link gets financial green light. A financial agreement was reached on Thursday to build the first power cable linking Britain and Germany.

13 July 2022 - EU court points to future resurrection of Russian gas pipe (NS2)

Further developments were shadowing legal progress on two important cases the Unbundling of gas exporter and pipeline operator and the Swiss court delayed the bankruptcy but only for half a year. Attempts To 'Renormalize' Relations With Russia were curbed but not forever. The time was ticking and weather conditions make dives in winter more risky. There was not much time left.

These two pro-Gazprom court decisions accelerated the urgency of knocking both Nordstream twin pipelines as it was more and more obvious that at some point they will be relaunched. More than that the problem with returning Turbines, issue in which the delay in commissioning was caused partly by Canada and partly by the UK´s Siemens office not delivering INCOTERMS documents (171).

The complex operation was carefully orchestrated in advance, with a final decision had to be made by Liz Truss after she assumed the role of Prime Minister. The long term planning was confirmed on 28th of September by Jens Stoltenberg. Preparations could be traced to many events described in these following posts: here, here, here and here.

The post points that the window of opportunity to lay explosives was after the Yearly maintenance 10 day long check-up in July as the internal/external examination would have revealed charges. The plan included the post explosion management through AFF event in NY and through meetings at UN and in Norfolk. The NATO Baltops exercise has been conducted in June, before the maintenance which disqualifies it. Hersh´s claim is invalid also because NATO as an organization has not been considered a suspect. This is confirmed bz the SWE main investigator´s statement that just one state is the main suspect and it was not Russia, not USA and not pro-Ukrainian group.

In June the plan leaked, was intercepted or a UK submarine/minisub/un-manned drone could have been found near pipelines. True reason is unknown but some data exist. It is known that the USA (CIA) gave to allies strategic warning.

Several suitable news were identified which could support this sequences. Either it originates through work of CIA itself or suspected action was identified by intelligence services. If the possible claim that a pre-plan feasibility approach has been conducted near Bornholm during the Baltops then the CIA warning due to timing and US-UK, NATO-UK and GER-UK meetings on Navy level could make sense. The navy data would have been assessed, studied and conclusions drawn.

Note that EU also studied vulnerabilities of its infrastructure and organized on Bornholm a seminar. Was this some soft diplomatic politics message?

During June Russia obviously also noticed some suspicious actions and sent there a warship and plane to check it out. It made intrusion into Danish Territorial zone which Danes protested against.

214 - Mats Ljungqvist (implicitly) rejects Andromeda story

Looking at the Short and Clear statement
from Sweden

(source with link is in a post about Mats Ljungqvist)

KEY STATEMENTS ABOUT SUSPECTS:

SUMMARY:

 - STATE ACTOR -
- One Rogue state, not more -
- Not USA, RU -
- Not pro-Ukrainian Group -
- Not a USA order to another state or group -
- They know how and what happened there -

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

One state actor with significant resources and knowledge is a main clue.

There are theoretically VERY few companies or groups that have the ability.

It was not NATO as an organization.

It was not USA + Ukraine, UK...

He speaks in singular, not in plural.

8 March 2023 - German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius warned...

... against reaching premature conclusions on who was responsible for blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines, suggesting the attack could also have been a ‘false flag’ operation to blame Ukraine.

[MRT: Two statements which are hinting to certain direction. There were more.]

213 - Collection of NATO related posts in the Nordstream Affair

There are several posts about the role of NATO
The investigation looks into meetings and statements of key officials.

SUMMARY:

The main finding of my research is that the story could be robustly explained with data solely from the public domain. Conclusions seem to have high degree of validity
and are cross referenced through data found in many posts.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

Assertion in that the Nord Stream affair can be comprehensively explained using solely publicly accessible data.

The timing and statements made by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg around the period of the explosions given all available information give strong impression that he has been aware of the mission against Nordstream before explosions happened.

The analysis posits possible knowledge or involvement from other NATO officials are suggesting a potential cover-up of the true perpetrators.
The UK emerges as a primary suspect in the ongoing investigation.

DATA:

KEY STATEMENTS OF JENS STOLTENGERG:

21 Sept 2022 - NATO: "We will stay calm..."

[MRT: Because of what? The Russian mobilization or possibly, the issue that a something has been found in Baltic sea? One should try to seek, why was it sent there?]

23 Sept 2022 - EU/NATO: On Monday 26 September 2022, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will meet with the President of the European Commission

[MRT: Both were just in NY yet he asks her on Friday for earliest possible meeting which was Monday 26th? Suspicious timing. No journalists. Here detailed post. Given that NOR PM Støre later stated on 28-09-2022 that:

"Over the past few days I have been in close contact with my Nordic colleagues, the German Chancellor, the President of the European Commission, NATO’s Secretary General and other allies about this incident and how to respond. The EU has issued a statement, and the matter is being discussed today in the North Atlantic Council."

this could mean that they were aware of the attempts and either were trying to stop it, and failed or the decision was to let it happen (with following management under the US leadership).]

25 Sept 2022 - NATO: Stoltenberg - NATO does not want a confrontation with Russia

[MRT: Just a few days before "It is done" a chain of de-escalation statements was noticed from USA and NATO, why? Did they know? From her? Did they realized they failed to stop the attack? Interestingly the USA also de-escalated before the event: here.]

25 Sept 2022 - NATO: Secretary General @jensstoltenberg has called a special meeting of arms directors of NATO for Tues. in Brussels

[MRT: On Sunday, one day before Nordstream is blown up, he calls an ad-hoc meeting of NATO procurement directors - and one such person later visits Clyde where a submarine just returns from a mission  on his first trip in office to meet he visits submariners and props them up against Russia as a cheerleader. OK, what? Later he is fired as a first from Truss team, also the director of Clyde is fired, maybe because he brought there news and allowed taking pictures? Note when Jens Stoltenberg called for the meeting.]

26 Sept 2022 - NATO AWACS - @NATOAWACS 40 years @NATO E-3A AWACS in Geilenkirchen. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg sent a video message on this occasion.#WeAreNATO #StrongerTogether

[MRT: He gets in touch with important unit of early warning which could notice in advance Russian preparations for retaliation, what did he know? Also note that the USA has already withdrawn Kearsarge group from the Baltic sea]

27 Sept 2022 - NATO/EU: NATO Secretary General at EU Parliament: stay the course on Ukraine

[MRT: Could be interpreted as implicit statement that it was not Ukraine. Could be he was confirming that there are no changes despite what just happened.]

27 Sept 2022 - Jens Stoltenberg ...Then there is, of course, another type of escalation, and that is an escalation beyond Ukraine... we need to ensure that this doesn’t evolve into a full-fledged war in Europe. And we do that partly by being very clear that NATO and NATO Allies are not party to the conflict.

[MRT: Yeah, in Ukraine, but one member blew up Nordstream. And a very strong reason to conceal the perpetrator from the top down level. Also a strong reason to frame the event as a "sabotage" and not as a "Causus belli" or Armed attack which would not trigger the Article 5. Russia could have the right to retaliate in kind. Norway was not first worried about further attacks but some Russian statements made then rethink and started to protect own pipelines - the largest NOR customer is the UK - the prime suspect.]

...is the importance of the transatlantic bond, North America and Europe standing together, and American leadership.

[MRT: So the USA is taking over the coordination and management of the post-Nordstream security. The identity of the perpetrator could destroy the Trans-Atlantic bond. This is very clear, given all previous research, investigation, that it was the UK.]

28 Sept 2022: DK/NATO: Shoulder to shoulder! ...this is not an accident. The explosions were carefully planned, targeted and very powerful.

[MRT: How does he know it was long term plan? That they tried to target only pipelines, took special care not to hit anything else? ... all hints that he knew, he is a Norwegian, and they were whistle-blowers on 19-09-2022. Only question remains: At what point did he learn about it and from whom? Two possibilities, before he flew to US or there at HQs or in NY?

212 - Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen spills beans and nobody notices

What did Putin say in his previous speech actually?

SUMMARY:

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen expressed serious concerns regarding Putin's accusations that Anglo-Saxon powers were behind the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines. Her statement that "things can happen that we have not had the imagination to imagine" suggests she is wary of potential retaliatory actions from Russia as a response to these events. She emphasized the importance of allied cooperation.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

Potential Retaliation: Frederiksen voiced apprehensions about possible Russian responses to the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines.

Putin's Accusations: Putin has accused "Anglo-Saxon" powers of orchestrating the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage, framing it as an attack on European energy infrastructure.

Timing of Statements: There are indications that Putin's remarks were strategically timed to align with Frederiksen's visit to London.

Uncertainty Among Allies: Her statement raises questions about the reliability of certain allies.

Investigative Concern: The author of the blog questions the depth of the investigation regarding Putin's claims leading up to the Nord Stream incident.

Broad Implications: The author suggests that Putin's sweeping accusations implicate various entities, including MAINLY British officials but not restricted to them.

Further Information Available: The blog post also invites readers to explore Patreon content for additional insights into the Nord Stream incident.

DATA:

01 Oct 2022 - Metter Frederiksen "Things can happen that we have not had the imagination to imagine"

We are vulnerable, we are worried, and we are in very, very close dialogue with our allies.

[MRT: Which allies? Are all allies still allies or is she worried that some allies have become unpredictable? Is she in the know who is the Rogue State Actor? Well, I guess she was just in London and London, specifically Truss and Johnson got before the Nordstream bombing very specific nuclear warning, read 113 - Russian nuclear positioning before the Nordstream is attacked.]

No country can handle this task alone, says Mette Frederiksen... I listen a lot to what Putin says. Both in his speech yesterday, but also on other occasions.

[MRT: What did he actually say the day before? How many looked into this? The other times she could mean Putin´s pre-Nordstream warning which was supposed to be a soft-deterrence for Truss and Johnson not to go forward with their mission - read here: 113 - Russian nuclear positioning before the Nordstream is attacked

And I notice that it is said directly from Putin's side that several different weapons and methods may be used.

[MRT: He certainly spoke about retaliation. But what else did he say?]

30 Sept 2022 - RU: Putin says 'Anglo-Saxon' powers blew up Nord Stream pipelines
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday directly accused "Anglo-Saxon" powers of blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines.

"The sanctions were not enough for the Anglo-Saxons: they moved onto sabotage," Putin said. "It is hard to believe but it is a fact that they organised the blasts on the Nord Stream international gas pipeline."

[MRT: Interestingly she just visited London. Was Putin´s statement timed somehow to her meeting?]

30 Sept 2022 - RU: Putin: Anglo-Saxons out to destroy EU energy infrastructure

He also accused the West of sabotaging the Russia-built gas pipelines under the Baltic Sea to Germany. Putin said the "Anglo-Saxons" have turned from sanctions to "terror attacks," sabotaging the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines in what he described as an attempt to "destroy the European energy infrastructure."

[MRT: Not naming one state is for a purpose. What he is saying that the perpetrator was making sure factions aligned with their policy were also onboard - aka British Royals and old money in a New World. By not naming a certain highest official of a country he also points that the mission was a long term and that is also a case of Truss who took over Boris Johnson as a new UK´s PM.]
