121 - Hersh´s claim vs Hard data - and - Mortymer´s Nordstream hypothesis recap

Just read and see...

This post compares Seymour Hersh´s claim to my data-set.
Each his main point is debunked or explained.

The 2nd part sorts my investigation into logical groups.

The master data sheet will not be publicly available.
Researchers and journalists can request private access.

(AS ALWAYS: Simple graphics,
all data is properly dates with links to sources
red - important, blue - own input)

The core of the Hersh´s claim is:

  1. Biden´s administration has planned how to take down Nordstream pipelines very early in 2022
  2. Biden himself admitted they will take them down if Russia enters Ukraine
  3. Explosives were planted during NATO´s Baltops naval exercise
  4. Guilty is the Kaersarge group with Norweigean minehunters
  5. Norway was active participant
  6. US Poseidon 8 plane dropped a buoy which remotely triggered charges
  7. Nuland and her pile of rusting junk metal statement

EACH single point commented:

  1. Biden´s administration has planned how to take down Nordstream pipelines very early in 2022
-> This data-set does not support such finding AND no such data to support this were found.
-> There is no evidence of political positioning of USA for it to execute the mission, actually the opposite. The USA, after the 19-09-2022 tried to de-escalate the crisis to prevent war - here.
-> The USA closed in 2021 "Merkel´s deal" that if Russia enters Ukraine the NS2 will not be certified - here and here
-> The UK, after Brexit, lost all legal ways how to stop Russian energy expansion - here
-> The UK was voicing very much for EU to stop course of its energy policy - here
-> There is no evidence of USA other naval forces getting into position would the crisis get out of hand, the USA actually left Baltic sea on 21-22-09-2022 due to risk to its own security - here
-> This data set shows that the USA was actually supporting Germany in protecting pipelines since Baltops exercises - here
-> The USA actually found out about the danger to Nordstream and warned its allies in June,
The release of this news was 27-09-2022 as a part of PR after the USA left Baltic sea - here
->The ONLY data I found about US divers was here - US-UK training mission in Florida

  2. Biden himself admitted they will take them down, unspecified answer how
-> Biden spoke ONLY about Nordstream 2, the prime target was the NS1: video here
-> Listen carefully, he describes the Merkel´s deal he just re-signed with GER new chancellor Scholz. He clearly states the condition "IF Russia does X then..." which means that NS2 will not get the certification and that is what happened, both countries kept their promise - here.
-> This investigation shows that Biden and Scholz were re-signing Merkel´s deal herehere
-> Biden originally allowed NS2 in June 2021, for USA it is not an issue of national security but is for the UK as many time stated here and here.
-> Note that USA understood well that GER needs energy diversification and was ok with NS1 but was against over-reliance of its key ally on Russia - here
-> Compare this with what was the official narrative of the UK and specially Truss narrative here

  3. Explosives were planted during NATO´s Baltops naval exercise
-> This claim looks very odd. The remote trigger by passing plane by dropping a sono-buoy with the timer to be still postponed allowing deniability? Yet planes have trackers - here.
-> The more complex the operation is the higher risk something could go wrong.
-> Several experts e.g. FRA navy deep diver, or DK navy experts point to sub-surface approach - here and here.

-> This investigation has found a evidence of several states having hydro-acoustic data about submarine/mini-submarine/large submersible-drone operating in the area from 19-25 September.
-> All September naval exercises included anti-submarine part, there were several ASW helicopters staying long in the area flying in paths resembling anti-submarine operation.
-> It is possible that the claim has been created in order to allow explanation of possible sono-buoy if found. Exercises: POL+POR, GER+LIT+FRA+FIN, SWE.
-> The mission to attack Nordstream was highly complex in contested area under constant surveillance of several states, surface approach would be very risky - here
-> Large navies do have very high-end capabilities and well trained deep divers who are accustomed to work under stress. They exercise different options, e.g. being left on the open sea. There is no point to use low tech on high end target in nofailure-allowed type of mission here
-> The closer to the 26-09-2022 the better chance of concealment - here
-> The longer time from the 26-09-2022 the higher risk of discovery - here
-> The window of opportunity is from 17 July 2022 when Nordstream run internal (pigging) and external (visual) checks due to yearly maintenance. It is done by 3rd independent parties and is required for re-insurance. Explosives/charges could be found

  4. Guilty is the Kaersarge group with Norweigean minehunters
-> Norway was not the country to blame but the country which found out the UK´s plan - here.
-> Norway (PM Støre and Defence minister Gram) actually warned both USA and its EU allies. The USA informed France and Germany that the area is unsafe for them and that they need to takeover the security of the pipeline the USA was anyway against - here
-> As a result of Russian nuclear positioning - here and snap Russian anti submarine exercise - here - was conducted near future blast.

-> Is the USA culpable? My data-set does not support such data but this investigation shows that it was the UK who planned and executed the mission. The USA left the Baltic sea and started to de-escalate worrying that the crisis could  grow into next European war and possibly in the worse case scenario even a nuclear exchange.

  5. Norway was active participant and wanted to gain large profit

-> Norway was actually announcing willingness to lower energy exports and domestic prices were too high, their largest customer is the UK whose competitiveness could be effected - here
-> Norway actually blew a whistle on 19-09-2022 as their security seemed to learn the plans of Truss government - here
-> Here are more details about the NOR not trusting NATO security and signing separate bilateral defence treaty with the USA just before the Nordstream is hit - here

  6. US Poseidon 8 plane dropped a buoy which remotely triggered charges
-> This data based investigation is elegantly able to explain the Poseidon P-8 flight from Iceland - here
-> The USA after finding out about the impending UK´s rogue attack on Nordstream (and perhaps other diversions) was feeling insecure and closed direct bileteral defence agreement just before the Nordstream happened - here. The USA started to feel also uneasy and the crisis as deepening. Putin and his advisors made statements that Russia will protect its territory with weapons. Gazprom is 51% owned by Russian state and Nordstream 2 AG is a doughter company fully owned by Gazprom, incorporated in Switzerland.
-> This data based investigation is elegantly able to explain Sikorski moment - here

  7. Nuland and her pile of rusting junk metal at the bottom of the sea statement
-> The USA acted opportunistically - UK had a diplomatic mission to USA shortly before, during and after the mission. First on unofficial level, then on deeper - meetings were held.
-> It is unclear how and when exactly the UK informed USA or whether the USA asked the UK about their plans. The special relationship pause hints to USA not agreeing first with the mission.
-> There was a political split between the US-UK governments and the "special relationship" was even put to pause until it is clarified what was going.
-> Data point that UK officials arrived to Norfolk on 20-09-2022 one day after NOR warning.
-> More research is necessary to find out who knew what and how things were managed.
SUMMARY:

This investigation runs from 27-09-2022
In early October 2022 I realized a UK submarine S-120 Ambush
just returned to its home port Faslane in Scotland.
It was visited by a UK Defense Minister,
He visited submariners in the sub, not in some meeting room.

I asked  DoD shortly after:

I made a brief about the Nordstream listing known facts
It included a thesis that the UK was the only country
which could be culpable of the deed:
Like many discussed ad nauseum, my claim had head and heels.
People like the data I found and shared, wanted more. So I started the blog.
In January 2023 a friend asked me to contact investigative journalists.
After appeal by another one I did contacted Larrisa Ward.
This was before Hersh came with his story.

- DRAFT -
5 IMPORTANT ISSUES:

1. Discrepancy - Crisis on hands!
NOR Defense minister timing of his visit to USA does not match official date.
Gram has visited the USA already on 16-09-2022, no info about this found.

2. Norway plays as NATO's eyes and ears in the Arctic
The post in which a claim is explored that Gram and Store brought important intel to USA

3.  A series of strategic meetings aboard USS Ford on 19-09-2022
For Norway it was about "the core of Norway’s security"
Norway hastily closes Supplementary Defense Cooperation Agreement (SDCA)
in the event of a war or crisis

4. Landing of the UK Queen Elisabeth which was on a diplomatic mission

5. Why did NOR meet Office of Management and Budget officials at USS Ford?
Were they there actually
two times? With NOR and then on 25-09-2022?

NEWS ANALYSIS: As the leader of Norway’s neighbouring Russia shocked the world again, now with nuclear threats, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre readily concedes that his government must rely on the US and other NATO allies for any needed defense. They’ve all been gathered at the UN General Assembly in New York this week, but just before that, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre was flown out to visit a US aircraft carrier at sea.

The carrier visit confirmed once again that the US and Norway are close allies and also that US forces will continue to maintain a strong presence in Norwegian territory, not least along its coast. “What gives Norway security is that we have allies who have capacity,” Støre told newspaper Aftenposten while standing on the deck of the USS Gerald R Ford on Monday.

When asked why he’d taken the time to visit the USS Gerald R Ford at the start of a hectic week in Washington DC and at the UN in New York, Støre told Aftenposten it was to see “the core of Norway’s security.”... Defense Minister Gram added that while Norway “is a small country, it contributes strongly to the NATO alliance through intelligence gathering, new fighter jets, the new surveillance aircraft and special forces.

BLINKEN´S "TREMENDOUS OPPORTUNITY" QUOTE:

119 - The day before the attack on 25 Sept 2022: Blinken on a potential U.S. response to nuclear weapons | 60 Minutes

Interview 1 day before Nordstream is attacked
the USA could not stop the attacker
and now tries to de-escalate

25 Sept 2022 - Secretary Antony J. Blinken Interview With 60 Minutes on CBS With Scott Pelley

QUESTION: How concerned should Americans be about the prospect of nuclear war?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Scott, we’ve heard a lot of irresponsible rhetoric coming out of Vladmir Putin, but we’re focused on making sure that we’re all acting responsibly, especially when it comes to this kind of loose rhetoric. We’ve been very clear with the Russians publicly and as well as privately to stop the loose talk about nuclear weapons.

QUESTION: Privately, the United States has been in communication with the Kremlin about these threats of nuclear war?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Yes, it’s very important that Moscow hear from us and know from us that the consequences would be horrific, and we’ve made that very clear.

QUESTION: You called the nuclear talk loose talk, but isn’t Vladimir Putin telling us what he’s going to do if he is backed any further into a corner?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Vladimir Putin has a clear way out of the war he started, and that’s to end it. If Russia stops fighting, the war ends. If Ukraine stops fighting, Ukraine ends.

QUESTION: Is there anyone in the Kremlin who can tell Vladimir Putin, “No,” if he decides to launch a battlefield nuclear weapon?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: They have a chain of command – whether it works or not, to be seen – but I think what you’re pointing to is a larger challenge, and that is the Achilles Heel of autocracies anywhere, there is usually not anyone who has the capacity or the will to speak truth to power. And part of the reason I think Russia has gotten itself into the mess that it’s in is because there is no one in the system to effectively tell Putin he is doing the wrong thing.

QUESTION: In our interview last week, President Biden told us that he had a message for Vladimir Putin on the use of nuclear weapons.

President Joe Biden, last week: Don’t, Don’t, Don’t.

QUESTION: He went on to say the U.S. response would be “consequential.” What did he mean by that?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: I’m not going to get into what the consequences would be. Any use of nuclear weapons would have catastrophic effects for, of course, the country using them, but for many others as well.

QUESTION: If you can’t give us specifics about a U.S. response, can you tell us that the administration has a plan?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: We do.

QUESTION: Is it a plan that would prevent World War III?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: President Biden has been determined that as we are doing everything we can to help the Ukrainians to defend themselves, as we’re doing everything we can to rally other countries to put pressure on Russia, we’re also determined that this war not expand, not get broader.

LETS ROLL BACK:

THIS is the USA feeling the need to de-escalate:

So the USA folds and withdrews from Baltic sea:

21 Sept 2022 - Ex-Putin adviser warns UK cities could be hit with nuclear weapons if Britain ‘continues to be aggressor’

Sergey Markov says ‘a lot of people in Western countries’ could be killed in nuclear war on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme

An ex-adviser to Vladimir Putin has claimed UK cities could be a nuclear target for the Russian president and blamed the Ukraine war on the West as he launched into a bizarre rant on British radio.

Sergey Markov made a host of unsubstantiated claims - including that Western countries are using Ukrainian soldiers “as slaves” - before shouting down the phone line during his interview.

He threatened the West with nuclear war before he was asked any questions on BBC’s Today programme on Wednesday morning.

Good morning to you,” the presenter said, to which the ex-Putin advisor replied: “Good morning. Well it’s not good morning ... for everybody.”

He continued: “For Western countries, for you, British listeners, I would say that Vladimir Putin told us he would be ready to use nuclear weapons against Western countries, including nuclear weapons against Great Britain.

Mr Markov said “your cities will be target..” before being interrupted.

After claiming Russia wanted peace, Mr Markov was challenged by the BBC presenter who said: “You haven’t been talking much about peace, have you? You’ve just threatened us all with complete destruction, nuclear missiles coming to London, you said, and now you talk about peace.”

Mr Markov replied: “If Great Britain continues to be aggressor against Russia, if the prime minister of Great Britain, Liz Truss, still has a plan to destroy Russia, people in London should understand this threat comes from Liz Truss who is aggressor.

The NATO died,

or was "zombified"

the USA has chosen own security over the security of its NATO allies
